Privacy

Last updated 28 July 2026

Patmos Software apps do not collect your personal information. There are no accounts with us, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking services. What you do in the app stays on your device.

This policy covers the apps published by Patmos Software. Where an app behaves differently, it is described in its own section below.

What we collect

Nothing. Our apps have no accounts of ours, no sign-in of ours, and no servers of our own. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, and we have no way to identify you.

We do not use advertising, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics or tracking services. No App Tracking Transparency permission is requested because there is nothing to track.

What stays on your device

Apps store their own data locally so they work between sessions — your progress, settings, and similar. This is held in the app's private storage on your device and is never sent to us.

It is included in your device backups if you have those enabled, which is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Deleting an app removes its local data.

Purchases

Where an app offers in-app purchases, they are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or handle your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase is valid, so that what you bought can be unlocked.

Purchase records are held by Apple under their terms. If you need a refund, that is requested through Apple rather than through us.

Game Center

Some of our apps offer leaderboards through Game Center, which is Apple's service, not ours. It is entirely optional — the game plays exactly the same with it switched off, and nothing prompts you to turn it on.

If you do use it, the app sends your score to Apple so it can be ranked. Apple shows the nickname and avatar you chose for your Game Center profile, which is the name other players see on a leaderboard. That profile belongs to you and Apple, and is managed in Settings › Game Center on your device.

We never receive your Apple ID, your email address, or any way to contact or identify you. We see only what any other player sees: the public nicknames and scores on a leaderboard. Game Center data is handled under Apple's privacy policy, and you can leave a leaderboard or turn Game Center off at any time.

Children

Our apps are suitable for general audiences and do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Since we collect nothing at all, there is nothing held about a child or anyone else.

Your rights

Rights under GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act and similar laws — access, correction, deletion, portability — apply to personal data an organisation holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose or delete. Data kept on your device is under your control and is removed when you delete the app.

Apps

Shikaku

A logic puzzle game. Progress, settings, and play statistics are stored on your device only. The play statistics shown in Settings are for your own interest — they are never transmitted anywhere.

Shikaku offers optional in-app purchases, handled by Apple as described above, and optional Game Center leaderboards. It contains no advertising.

Changes

If this ever changes — if an app starts collecting anything at all — this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. We will not quietly start collecting data under a policy that says we do not.
